“MONDO PERFETTO” BY GUILHERME MIOTTO

Op dinsdagavond 17 juni presenteert S’DANS de voorstelling “Mondo Perfetto”, waarin danser en marimbaspeler elkaar live ontmoeten in de muziek van Bach.

In concert-voorstelling Mondo Perfetto presenteert Corpo Máquina’s artistiek leider Guilherme Miotto een mix van golven en impulsen. In de eenvoud van beweging probeert hij een manier te vinden om de gelaagde realiteit waarin de spelers zich bevinden met publiek te delen. Monumentale gebaren en klanken ontmanteld in stappen en ritmes.

De marimba brengt de verborgen vibraties onder deze legendarische composities aan de oppervlakte. De suites verkennen lage registers en worden als drijvende kracht ingezet om verschillende vibraties in het lichaam te onderzoeken

• Chaconne uit vioolpartita nr. 2 in D klein, BWV 1004

On Tuesday evening, June 17, S’DANS presents the performance Mondo Perfetto, where dancer and marimba player meet live through the music of Bach.

In this concert-performance, Mondo Perfetto, Corpo Máquina’s artistic director Guilherme Miotto presents a blend of waves and impulses. Through the simplicity of movement, he seeks a way to share the layered reality in which the performers find themselves with the audience. Monumental gestures and sounds are dismantled into steps and rhythms.

The marimba brings to the surface the hidden vibrations beneath these legendary compositions. The suites explore the lower registers and serve as a driving force to investigate different resonances within the body.
